Magazine Wood bridges the gap between a friendly country house bed and breakfast and a luxury boutique hotel.
Set amongst beautiful rolling countryside with little traffic and breath-taking glimpses of the stunning Norfolk coast, the sunsets can be spectacular and you will be captivated by the open space, tranquillity and beauty of the surroundings. At Magazine Wood your time is your own.
Guest suites are independent from the main house and have fabulous interiors. Bathrooms have deep baths and seperate rain showers. Extra comforts include sumptious beds, quality furnishings, moody lighting, guest phones, fast broadband and LCD televisions with on-demand movies. Guests are also provided with a personal tablet computer that hosts our 'online concierge' from which you can order breakfast, download a newspaper or plan how to spend your day. The emphasis is on privacy and relaxation with every room enjoying a private entrance and terrace as well as dedicated parking.
Located just off the coast with a dining pub within walking distance and a whole range of places such as Brancaster, Burnham Market, Holkham and the Royal Sandringham estate nearby. Magazine Wood is also on the Peddars Way, Norfolk's popular walkers trail that joins the Norfolk Coast path a few miles away. A local landmark the old gunpowder store (magazine) marks the entrance which was originally built during the English civil war.
Featured in the National Press, we pride ourselves on being a named as one of the Top 10 B&B''s in Britain for 2016.
"Definitely one of the best places to stay on the Norfolk coast. All the luxury you could expect from a fabulous boutique hotel but it is the friendly attention to detail that really makes this bed and breakfast a cut above"
