Our system allows you to check availability right now. If the dates are available then simply tick them and press the 'book now' button.

 

At the end of the process you can either send us a cheque, make a bank transfer or save time and pay via paypal - you don't need an account just follow the 'no account' link and pay with your card in the normal way. 

 

Either way we'll send you a reservation statement by return.

 

If you want to book more than one room (for the same dates) then check just for your room and after you press 'book now' you can see if any other rooms are available and add them in before finalising anything.

Cancellations: We require a deposit of the equivalent of the first nights accommodation charge. If you cancel your booking for whatever reason (especially a few days prior to arrival)  all deposits may well be retained. Not withstanding, we will always endeavour to rebook your room and if succesful, only make a nominal £10 administration charge. Annual holiday insurance is therefore strongly recommended.

Occasionally, we offer a transfer to alternative dates but this is always on the understanding that this occurs within 12 weeks of the original booking.

 Pets: We have limited availability for ONE pet (never more than one) to stay with guests at Magazine. We will notify within 72 hours if we cannot accommodate.

All pets must be quiet, calm, well behaved and not to excitable especially if your dog is a larger breed (spaniel +). Pets must never go onto beds or soft furnishing. If this does not sound like your dog then please book elsewhere!  Please note that we also have free range chickens on site. No pet should ever be left unattended in guests rooms for any reason.

If you are happy for your dog to remain in your car, we are much more flexible and no charges apply. Cars can be parked in our private grounds immediately adjacent to your room. We never accept potentially aggressive dogs as we have our own resident labrador and paterdale at Magazine Wood.

 

Other useful information:

For your convenience there is a mini bar stocked with drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices which is charged separately. We provide as standard goose/duck down bedding. Please advise at time of booking if you require hypo-allergenic pillows and duvet. 

Upon request we can provide disabled ramps for access to the garden suite which is all on the same level with wide doorways. Magazine Wood complies with 2007 building regulations regarding electrical switch locations etc. The bathroom is not modified specifically for disabled use.
