Every November and December the Thursford Museuem is transformed into a theatre to house the Thursford Christmas Spectacular Show which is the largest of its kind in England. In 2011 shows commence on 9th November - 23rd December, with two shows per day at 2pm and 7pm .

Thursford Christmas Spectacular tickets do not include entrance to the Fantasy Land building.

The Thursford museum is set in a tranquil setting of a small Norfolk village about 25 minutes drive from Magazine Wood and is home to the Thursford Collection of traditional old-fashioned fairground experiences where majestic engines sit next to carousel rides.

The Thursford collection of mechanical organs, from the smaller street organ to the enormous dance organs and fairground organs all play jaunty tunes to both entertain and demonstrate the different styles and sounds of each one. The Thursford Museum has daily musical shows and  Robert Wolfe at the Wurlitzer Cinema organ not only brings you music from today but also takes you back to the days of the silent movie using today's technology.

The Thursford museum has also transformed traditional Norfolk farm buildings into Dickensian style gift shops, ice cream parlour, coffee-tea shop and their famous Christmas gift shop.
