King William
Sedgeford, PE36 5LU (3 Minute Drive, 15 Minute Walk)
LoveNorfolk Rating: ❤❤❤
The King William village pub has been taken over by the award-winning Coaching Inns and completed a swanky refurbishment. New menu is not only a little bit different but also offers better value on the coast. A well deserved reputation for good food and packs them in all year round. The King Willy’s local loyal following adds to the atmosphere. Outside garden and log fires in winter. Oh and if it’s your birthday enjoy the meal on them!

The Nest Farmhouse Restaurant
Docking, King’s Lynn PE31 8FP (5 minute Drive)
LoveNorfolk Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤
A relative stones throw from Magazine Wood and another spot with commanding views over the Norfolk Coast. This buzzy bar restaurant atmosphere in a beautiful setting has really hit the ground running. Nest has always let its food be the star of the show – and so it should when it’s this good. Don’t expect fuss or frills, but perfected, elevated and thoughtful cooking from a team who know exactly what they’re doing. Hopefully you are lucky enough to get a table.

The Neptune 👍
Old Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6HZ (10 Minute Drive)
LoveNorfolk Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤
This unpretentious restaurant run by Kevin and Jacki Mangeolles has a much deserved Michelin star and is a great ‘foodie’ restaurant to visit on the Norfolk coast. Dishes are subtle with delicious combinations (think crab ravioli , mackerel in oyster mayonnaise, loin of rose veal, iced Hazelnut Nougat. You will need deep pockets but will be talking fondly about the Neptune for a long time to come. Advance booking is essential!

Jolly Sailors
Brancaster Staithe, PE31 8BJ (15 Minute Drive)
This pub is a real Norfolk institution and offers everything from delicious hot-from-the-oven pizzas to local Brancaster mussels. Draws a substantial crowd on a fine summer days and a fair few muddy dogs. Pre-Covid this was the only place on the coast that didn’t take booking so you just bowled up to get your table.
